Međunarodni natječaj: Tri projekta na Dravi, Maribor, Slovenija

Internacionalna unija arhitekata najavljuje međunarodni natječaj na tri lokacije na rijeci Dravi, u centru Maribora. Ova faza natječaja dio je sveobuhvatnog planiranja i razvojnog programa slovenskog grada koji nosi titulu Europske kulturne prijestolnice 2012 godine. U organizaciji Općine Maribor i Svjetske unije arhitekata, s podrškom UIA sekcije Slovenija, natječaj je organiziran u skladu sa UIA-UNESCO pravilnikom odobrenim od UIA. Tri su lokacije predviđene natječajem: riječno priobalje, pješački most i mariborska Umjetnička galerija. Sudionici mogu prijaviti jedan, dva ili tri programa. Svaki će program biti prezentiran i predstavljen zasebno.
Ocjenjivački sud:
Jedan ocjenjivački sud će biti zadužen za prijave radova za obalni dio i pješački most, a čine ga: Roger Riewe (Austria), Saša Begović (Hrvatska); arhitekti Ales Vodopivec, Uros Lobnik, Stojan Skalicky (Slovenija); Andreas Ruby (Njemačka) kritičar i izdavač, i Ana Kučan (Slovenija) krajobrazni arhitekt. Zamjenici članova: Andrej Smid (Slovenija), Luciano Lazzari (Italija).
Drugi ocjenjivački sud, koji je zadužen za projekte za Umjetničku galeriju, čine: Hrvoje Njirić (Hrvatska), Peter L. Wilson (Australija), Jürgen Hermann Mayer (Njemačka); Stojan Skalicky (Slovenija), Matevz Celik (Slovenija), Marko Studen (Slovenija) i Christoph Grunenberg (Velika Britanija), director galerije Tate, Liverpool. Zamjenici:arhitekti Uros Lobnik (Slovenia)i Vojko Pavcic (Slovenia).

Sudjelovanje:
Natječaj je otvoren za arhitekte čije su nacionalne organizacije članice UIA. Natječajni jezik je engleski. Kvota za sudjelovanje iznosi 150 € i plaća se on-line kod registracije.

Obalni dio: 1. nagrada 30.000 €, 2. nagrada 15.000 €, 3. nagrada 8.000 €

Na natječaj koji je trajao od 06. ožujka 2008. do 01. srpnja 2008. pristiglo je jedanaest (11) radova. Ocjenjivački sud u sastavu: Nikola Bašić, dipl.ing.arh. Poziv za nominacije za Piranske dane arhitekture

Po 25. put približavaju se Piranski dani arhitekture uz koje se priređuje međunarodna izložba realizacija i dodjeljuje nagrada „Piranesi”. Hrvatska može izložiti 5 kandidata za ovu nagradu.
U potrazi za kvalitetnom prezentacijom hrvatske produkcije, kao selektor, bio bih zahvalan za svaki konkretni prijedlog. Prijedlog može biti kompletan što znači uz podatke: ime i adresa autora, naziv i adresa građevine, godina projekta, godina realizacije, nekoliko fotografija i nužni arhitektonski prikaz. No bio bih zahvalan i za prijedlog koji bi uputio samo na autora i konkretnu građevinu.

Dear Sirs,
we are pleased to inform you that applications to "glassdressing", the Seventh edition of the International Design Contest Trieste Contemporanea, can be submitted by the end of May.
Together with the CEI Venice Forum, organised on occasion of the Arts Biennale of Venice with the objective of assessing the state of culture in the countries of Central Eastern Europe, the design contest is one of the most significant events among those organised by the Trieste Contemporanea Committee to promote reciprocal understanding and exchange among the countries of this region of Europe by way of a wide range of cultural activities in the field of visual arts, music and cinema.
This biennial appointment aims at spreading the most original design expressions of the Central-Eastern European countries and will be dedicated this year to the creation of glass jewels.
The 2006 objective being that of stimulating a creative research capable of proposing new aesthetic and formal contemporary pathways in the glassware industry, the candidates are asked to submit a project for any type of glass jewelry which complies with the following criteria: the object will have to be conceived as an ornament for the body and thus, after its creation, will have to be wearable; glass should be the predominant material making up the object.

glassdressing - Seventh International Design Contest Trieste Contemporanea
Deadline: MAY 31st, 2006.
The designers of 21 countries from Central Eastern Europe (Albania, Austria, Belarus, Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Serbia and Montenegro, Slovak Republic, Slovenia and
Ukraine) are called to apply and submit a project for a GLASS JEWEL.
Enrollment to the contest is free of charge and the announcement is available on the website www.triestecontemporanea.it.
The best projects will be awarded a first and a CEI prize (both of 3000
EURO) and the youngest designer will win the BEBA prize (1000 EURO). See in the contest's regulations the list of the other prizes and the planned workshop in Venice. All the selected projects will be realized in Murano and will be exhibited in Venice and Trieste.
The contest is coproduced by the Trieste Contemporanea Committee and the Glass School Abate Zanetti of Murano under the patronage of CEI (Central European Initiative).

Cities: grand bazaar of architectures
INTERNATIONAL CONFRONTATION OF PROJECTS BY STUDENTS OF ARCHITECTURE
”Extreme: Creating space in extreme and extraordinary conditions”
Aim of the Competition
The competition aims to provide an opportunity for the future architects to demonstrate their creative powers in the face of challenging conditions by designing spaces for different functions chosen by them at places which are extraordinary in terms of their geographic location, topography, flora, climate as well as social and political conditions.
Announcement Of Results And Public Exhibition
The results of the competition will be announced publicly and diffused as widely as possible. All submitted entries which were eligible for evaluation as well as the jury report will be exhibited in Istanbul for a period of 2 weeks during 3-17 July 2005.
